It has been 25-years since the famous police chase in Los Angeles.
On June 17, 1994, the nation watched O.J. Simpson and AL Cowling, former college and pro-football team mate, ride through numerous LA freeways in the famous white Ford Bronco, which some arguably describe as the police chase of the century.
Those who watched the 1994 chase can recall the 911 call from Cowling.
“We’re OK, but you got to tell the police to back off.. He’s still alive, but he’s got a gun to his head..He just wants to see his mother, let me get him to the house,” He says.
The Infamous case centered around the murders of O.J. Simpson ex-wife, Nicole Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman. The “Trial of the century” ended on Oct. 3, 1995, with 150 million viewers watching as the verdict was read. O.J. was acquitted for the double murders thanks to his “Dream Team.”
Now 25 years later, Simpson is living a social life. Nearly, 2-years after being released from prison for robbery, O.J. has joined social media. He has posted several videos on his Twitter account, which has yet to be verified by Twitter.
Kim Goldman, the sister of Ron Goldman, created a podcast titled Confronting O.J. Simpson, where she is heard interviewing individuals who were involved in the case.
She invites O.J. on her podcast so that he may “Correct the wrongs he writes” and have a sit down face – to – face conversation.
She says that this podcast is a way for her to release everything that she has been holding on to for the last 25-years since the infamous case.
